five years later, struggling with my bartleby (i'd rather not to) syndrome i had been asked to create a piece for 20th anniversary of the Jindřich Cahlupecký Award exhibition at DOX museum in Prague. this is what came out of it, yes i did create a piece, but it comes out as a certain failure. failure through success, success through failure, that is a fascinating topic for visual art ever since Duchamp's decision to quit art. or rather perhaps the realization that came some decades later, that his silence made him the most enigmatic and successful artists of the 20th century.

Colby succeeds spinning his pillow in unconscious repetition, i fail keeping it up no matter how consciously hard i try. it probably does say something about art.
